How-to & Care instructions
To ensure that your handmade products can remain cherished for years to come you'll need proper care and maintenance; by taking these steps you can preserve the beauty and integrity of the wood.

Cutting & Charcuterie Boards
Hand wash only, avoid using a dishwasher. Use
warm, soapy water - do not soak. Dry thoroughly
as possible, then keep upright on its side to
allow both sides to dry equally. If you notice
the board to start to look dry, apply a food
safe cutting board, butcher block or mineral
oil.
Oil your board regularly to keep it protected.
When oiling, you will let it soak in for
approximately 20 minutes, then wipe the excess
off.
Keep your board either on a flat surface or
standing up on its side. Make sure it is in a
dry area, to avoid any excess moisture reaching
your board.
If you stain your board, typically a lemon juice
or white vinegar can help get that out!
If you find deep scratches in your board after
multiple uses, you can use a higher grit sand
paper to get them out. Once your board is smooth
again, to your liking, apply the oil and it will
look good again!

Bread Lames
Bread lames are tools designed for scoring bread dough. Scoring refers to the process of creating shallow cuts to the dough before baking. Although, some may think they are just for creating beautiful designs on bread they are essential for controlling bread expansion, preventing bread blowouts and releasing the steam properly.
